NEW WINDOW command-n
New Window creates a new Netscape window and allows you to view several
web pages at the same time. Depending on the size of your monitor screen,
this function can be most useful in switching back and forth between different
pages. Many sites have a large resource list of information and have created
links to other related databases. These links make it convenient to explore
the enormous amount of resources available on the Internet.
To create a new window and view several web pages at the same time:

Arrange these pages on your computer screen by pointing and then dragging
the title of the page to an area of your computer screen. |

Once you have arranged the pages as shown in the picture below, click to
one of the "screens" , and then point and click to one of the
highlighted words (usually in blue) or image. Your pointer has now turned
into a hand with a pointing finger. |

Go to another "screen, " repeat step #3 with the selection of
a different word. Keep your "master page" on the left side of
your computer screen. This will enable you to refer back and forth. |

You are now able to view different pages and the "master"
page. These functions enable you to return easily to a page that you were
previously viewing or to cross references pages.
