Settings To use Eudora, you must have an account on a computer with a Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3) server. Open the Settings dialog box by clicking on the Special menu. Click on Getting To get started: 1 Type your login name and the full domain name of the computer, separating them with an "@" sign in the POP Account field. 2 Type in your Real Name as you would like it to appear in your messages. You can also leave it blank. 3 If you are using Eudora with a network connection, select MacTCP as the Connection Method. If you are using a modem or other serial connection, select Communications Toolbox as the Connection Method. Then, select the Communications... dialog from the Special menu and choose the appropriate modem/serial communications settings. 4 Click OK.
