- 1A EUDORA BASICS
A commonly asked question today at community functions is -"Let's
have a follow-up discussion on e-mail. What is your address?" E-mail
or electronic mail is an application that is gaining popular use by individuals
and organizations to conduct business or personal communications. You can
reach one person or even ten people with the same message within minutes
(well actually, depending on when they read their mail). You potentially
can also save on paper and postage when you utilize e-mail.
Although our manual covers the basics of using Eudora, they are somewhat
similar functions that you will find in other e-mail software such as First
Class, Pine, or those provided by your internet provider.

Eudora Menu
This section covers the step-by-step process for creating new mail, checking
mail, forwarding, replying, deleting, and sending attachments. The point,
click and drag movement over the Menu Bar pictured above will direct you
to setting up and using these e-mail functions. Please note that not all
menu items will be covered in this basic manual. There are numerous websites
that provide further explanations on e-mail and netiquette. Please refer
to section 1C for a listing of these sites.
