Phase two training begins!

Phase two of the APAnet capacity building program will begin in the middle of June. This phase will provide training in building effective Web pages for intra- organization and public communications. Modules will include Web page creation, content development and Web site management. Projects include staff directories, online newsletters and resource directories. APAnet has completed the first installation of ISDN-based Internet service at the Korean Health Education and Information Referral (KHEIR). Their email address is:

Through a strategic partnership with Pacific Bell, APAnet has been able to provide ISDN-based voice and data service, modems and Internet service to organizations in the Asian Pacific American community. Select the following link for more information about APAnet's ISDN program.

APAdirec gets a new look

Looking for some information on grants or the newest HUD programs? Trying to find out about the latest state legislation? Want to know more about the new welfare laws? Looking for health education materials in different languages? Check out APAdirec, APAnet's online library. It's been redesigned to make information easier to read and access. New categories have been added and old categories rearranged.

Chinese language tutorials now available

The Chinese language versions of the e-mail and Web tutorials (featuring instructions on how to use Eudora and Netscape) are now available from the Online Training Center. Select this link to view the Chinese language tutorials.
