The backbone of APAnet is the participation of member community-based organizations (CBOs). CBOs are the primary conduit of human services to the APA community and by offering education, training, and resources. APAnet will enhance the ability of CBOs to better serve their constituents and ensure that these communities are not left behind in computer and information technology.
APAnet participants represent a collaboration between innovative and respected community-based Asian Pacific American organizations primarily in Southern California. APAnet brings together a combination of artistic, academic, social service, and public policy interests in creating links between the Asian Pacific American community and the greater Internet.
